With this last volley Armin ends the game with a question: will you still invite me over to watch "Grey's Anatomy"?
Marian has come at this with such intensity and aggression, and Armin's play here looks like he's trying to warm up the edges of her black, competitive heart. And, maybe just to get me to shut up, he's done it by using elements from past layers, with butterflies and the winding stitch from the hairball. I love that he stayed within the color palette, perhaps his way of extending his hands across the now wide void between them. Or maybe because he's lazy like me.
We had this frenzied, youthful energy from Armin who kept lobbing crazy, inscrutable elements to the rockstar Marian, and she kept crafting them into something beautiful. The effect was distinctly like that moment when Steven Tyler grabs the microphone from that one dude in Run DMC, and you're all NO WAY.

P.S. I do, in fact, know what a tennis ball is.
