Well, its almost 11:15pm in Stockholm if my math is correct, and the WERK team was sounding a little loopy backstage waiting on HKIs file.
Apparently the European internets are a bit bogged down, but we haven't strayed off schedule any more than usual. I can't overstate the camaraderie backstage, you'd never know we're working with near-strangers around the globe, it feels like old friends in the same room. Call that trite, but when you step back and think about it, it's pretty amazing. It's hard not to give Adobe a blatant plug here, too, how often are people united by software? Well, aside from AOL chat, but that's not so pretty.
And there it is. Add another country to our list: Liechtenstein, Roy, that is! That sounded like it was written by the worst film reviewer ever, looking for a blurb on the DVD box. It's strange that Layer Tennis usually features a sudden cathartic explosion or (as WERK threatened) sudden nightfall (aka "black screen") around volley 7, but it's nice to see a catharsis that doesn't totally obliterate the content of the previous volley for once. Is that the top of the tower from Volley 1 exploding? If the peanut gallery has their way, that bird's not going anywhere, score one for public opinion.
Oh, WERK tells us it's flying away. So much for the bird.
SOUNDTRACK
Let's go old school ska, shall we? I can't decide between Hopeton Lewis> or The Jamaicans.
