Too Early
to Call a Weiner

Seven-eights of Kevin Dart’s online portfolio features sultry Japanese action hero Yuki-7, so you just knew Layer two would feature an anthromorphic hot dog, putting the “Cute” in “Execute.”

"K E R N D O G G" (sorry, I'm not going to write CSS on the fly to get the spacing right) makes an early appearance here, chomping on Muller's beautiful blurry "E." The footwear is a nice touch, but Dart forgot that Muller, being a continental European, surely wears socks with sandals. Speaking of fashion, since everyone's been asking, it's been determined that Muller's jacket is by Zara, and his wife picked it out, but that's an old photo.

Weiner dogs have come up in Layer Tennis before (visual reference pending), but I don't believe I've ever seen one so cultured. That dog was housebroken on the New Yorker. Dart also used a favorite Coudal font, Avant Garde, though Jim likes to track it a little tighter.

SOUNDTRACK: Hot dogs always get Colourbox's Hot Doggie stuck in my head, but I think I used that one before. But I'm in luck, because Kevin provided his own soundtrack, remember? Kevin's got some Hives for you. I always really dug that Hives guy with the Rickenbacker bass and the moustache, he kinda makes the band.
