Evening is falling in London, where my boy Jakob kicks off what promises to be a no-holds-barred bork-fest.
When I first saw this volley through eyes blurred by seven shots of Svedka, I thought it was a billboard advertising the Swedish Air Force, as made famous by the film Lasse Hellstrom's Flying Meatballs!! starring Dolph Lundgren as the pilot who's trying to outfly his past and Ingrid Bergman as the tough but fair commander who [spoiler alert] dies tragically when she eats some bad surstromming and passes out in the cockpit and her jet crashes into Oslo (the audience I saw the movie with burst into cheers during this scene).
But after rubbing my eyes with I see it is the title card to a full-on Swedish war (tee hee, can you even imagine such a thing?), proudly waving the old blue and yellow.
The question is: Will Joakim make Jakob's day? Will he make anyone's day? Will he even respond at all? My experience with Joakim is that you send him a nice email, really put yourself out there as a human being, and then get noll in return. Let's see if he will do or say anything to change the world's opinion of him, but let me tell you, I am not holding my breath.
