Bear Wrestling

Q: "Were you always a bear wrestler?" A: Sam Potts comes out with the handcuffs and a whiff of Werner Herzog. Q2: Can Draplin recover from this? A2: I hope so, for the sake of the spectators.

In improv comedy, there's this notion that always saying "yes, and" to things on stage works much better than saying "no". So when your improv comedy partner says to you, "have you been waiting long for the bus?" you're much better off saying, "yes, and listen to what's happened to me while I've been waiting". From The Improv Wiki:

Just build the scene by adding concrete detail to whatever else has gone on in the scene. Whatever happens, it's right and you support it, flow along with it, add to it.

And so it goes in Layer Tennis. It seems as though Potts has given Draplin a very narrow opening here for his return...a sort of opening "no". But Draplin seems a clever fellow and will "yes, and" the living Hell out of this bear wrestling exercise thing.
