For today's match Mark Greenberg is composing and arranging a musical score as layer-by-layer commentary. We'll be adding his track to the animated sequence of photos that we'll post for each layer. Meanwhile, Bryan "The Ref" Bedell will chime in here and there with other pertinent comments.
Sam has found a more idyllic vista of the seashore, and carries on with the transportation theme, with an airplane (and a seagull, if you're stretching the idea.) Mark's scoring the volleys as I write, so it's hard to adequately shower his work with admiration, but I've been doing that since back in the Coctails days, so hopefully he understands. I'll take the liberty of declaring it 'fantastic' before I even hear it.
A technical note: we've seen comments that our usual aspect ratio isn't doing justice to the photos. Both photographers were aware of the final size, are shooting wide-format, and cropping their photos themselves. In my humble estimation, they're doing a bang-up job of composing for the admittedly-odd space.
And *sigh* I promised myself I'd only post one Rush joke per match, but I can't see a plane landing over Lake Ontario without sharing this masterpiece
